THE NEXT STAGE OF IRCT_AI
Working applications today. A governed-intelligence research laboratory tomorrow.
The next step is to expand the verified engineering base: production integrations, reusable Shape knowledge, independent testing, and specialized models capable of increasingly complete governed work.
THE INVESTMENT
$500,000 initial funding objective.
The proposed first round is $500,000. Of that, $150,000 is allocated to the research laboratory and the servers and infrastructure required for SaaS implementation. The remaining $350,000 would support the research and engineering effort, independent security and reliability testing, initial customer pilots, and business operations. These are planning intentions, not an already funded budget.

Engineering, experiments, validation, commercialization and operations.
THE FIRST RETURN ON INVESTMENT
Commercialize what already exists.
irct_ai already has working locally tested software. The initial business focus is governed software creation and carefully scoped improvement of products and workflows companies already depend on. The goal is real pilots, stronger operational qualification, repeatable integrations and recurring customer value—not to start with a promise of distant AGI.
COMMERCIAL
Governed software construction
Create applications from a human-defined final outcome while tracking requirements, implementation and verification.
COMMERCIAL
Existing product improvement
Add evidence-bound AI to workforce workflows, document intake, project planning and other established software.
RESEARCH
Specialist knowledge infrastructure
Curate domain-relevant information and qualified Shape records for future agents.
THE RESEARCH ROADMAP
A staged path to cumulative, governed intelligence.
INITIAL LAB
Stage 1 — Validate
Reproducible comparisons with conventional AI development; fuller runtime evidence; production-ready product pilots.
SYSTEM INFRASTRUCTURE
Stage 2 — Reuse
Qualified Shape libraries, curated specialist knowledge, stronger Librarian and Godfather integration.
EXPERIMENTAL
Stage 3 — Swarms
Residue-induced specialists exchange partial, qualified Shapes and compose new capability without inventing new authority.
MODEL RESEARCH
Stage 4 — Train
Adapt smaller Shape Reasoners, measure held-out gains and admit evidence-backed training trajectories.
THE LONG HORIZON
A Shape-trained Core and governed specialist swarms.
The longer-term research goal is an increasingly general system that can recover missing relationships, form qualified specialist compositions, carry out authorized tasks end-to-end, verify effects, and accumulate useful knowledge. A future 500B-class Shape Reasoner is an ambition for later funding and infrastructure—not an outcome financed or guaranteed by the first $500,000.
This program may inform research toward artificial general intelligence. It is not a claim that irct_ai has achieved AGI, nor that any model may grant itself new authority simply by discovering new capabilities.
WHY NOW
The laboratory will test the claims, not assume the conclusions.
The research program depends on falsifiable results: correctness on unfamiliar applications, authorization enforcement under adversarial conditions, repeatable composite reuse, complete governance-relevant evidence, and measurable improvement from specialized training.
