01 / THE DISCOVERY
We kept finding the same pattern.
ChatGPT repeatedly returned to familiar writing habits, even when the author’s intention was clear. Rosetta emerged to constrain those habits. Later, attempts to build an AI-governed operating system through conventional code repeatedly stopped before real-world realization. Across those failures, the same structural relationships kept appearing.
The question changed from “What code should we write next?” to “What governing structure has been established, and what remains unrealized?” That investigation became Shape Theory.
